Phil Bakke – President and Secretary
Mr. Bakke oversees the entire development, construction, leasing and management process. He has been in the real estate business since 1996. His experience lies both in multifamily, mixed-use land development, and in shopping center development. Prior to 1996, Mr. Bakke developed and operated several small businesses in San Antonio. Mr. Bakke attended Texas A & M University at Kingsville majoring in Business. Mr. Bakke has served as the Chairman of the Building and Planning Committee of the Witte Museum (located in San Antonio) and is currently Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
Harry S. Affleck – Executive Vice-President
Mr. Affleck joined the company in 2008 and has been active in the real estate business since 1996. Prior to joining Bakke Development Corp., Mr. Affleck was a Land Development Project Manager for D. R. Horton where he was responsible for overseeing acquisitions, planning, development and management of single family communities for the San Antonio, Schertz and New Braunfels markets. Mr. Affleck attended Texas Tech University graduating in 1994 with a degree in communications.
Cory Bakke – Vice-President and Treasurer
Mrs. Bakke has a strong financial background and directs the market research and marketing strategy for the Company. Research is the driving force behind all decision-making, market identification, land acquisition, project design and marketing strategy. Prior to the formation of Bakke Development Corp., Mrs. Bakke was the Research Director with RAYCO, Inc., which was purchased by KB Homes, the nation’s second largest homebuilder. Mrs. Bakke holds a Masters Degree in Land, Economics and Real Estate from Texas A & M University.
Dave Hidde – Project Manager
Mr. Hidde joined the company in early 2008. Mr. Hidde has been in commercial and residential construction since 1980. His strong technical background includes positions in production management, construction management, warranty service management, product development, and project management. Mr. Hidde holds degrees in Electronics and HVAC, is a Journeyman Carpenter, and has an NAHB CAPS Certification.
Annette Fritz – Corporate Property Manager
Mrs. Fritz joined Bakke Development Corp. in 2007. Mrs. Fritz brings with her 15 years of real estate experience in single family, multi-family and retail/industrial management. Her areas of responsibility include lease management, tenant coordination and property supervision. Prior to joining Bakke Development Corp., Mrs. Fritz assisted in both property management and the construction/new development departments at Weingarten Realty Investors in Dallas, Texas.
Wendy Rodriguez --- Controller
Mrs. Rodriguez joined the Company in 2006. Mrs. Rodriguez previously served for 7 years
as the accounting supervisor and job cost analyst for a construction company located in San
Antonio. Mrs. Rodriguez has a total of 41 years of accounting and administrative experience.
Mary Guerrero --- Construction Administrator
Mrs. Guerrero joined the Company in 2006. Mrs. Guerrero previously served as the accounts receivable and billing coordinator for a construction company located in San Antonio. Mrs. Guerrero has a total of 33 years of accounting and administrative experience.
